Marquette takes on Purdue for the third time in as many years, seeking their first win against the Boilermakers since Koby McEwen's superheroics in 2019. Today we evaluate the impact loss of Zach Edey and what Purdue will look like without the two time National Player of the Year.

Rick Mount's shooting in '69 is what most remember about that game, but we couldn't make FTs is what I remember.

We went 19/29 (65.5%) that game. As a team we shot 61.9% on FTs that season.  So we shot better than we usually did that night.

I should have clarified in the closing minute or 2 of the game.
