The youngsters won't get this one, but I am posting it anyway...

A clear ripoff of the beginning of the Dick Van Dyke Show.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

True story from today on Spring Break:

**Scene: naginiF family oddly decides to go to the Black Hills for Spring Break.  Today they drove to Devils Tower.  Fade in hiking around the monument as Pa naginiF spots a guy in a Bucks hat.......

naginiF:  you a big Bucks fan?
Guy:  you know it.  don't have season tickets but go a few times a year....we're gonna make some noise soon.
n:  how about Marquette?
G:  not so much but Wojo is bringing me around.  i love that guy

** fade out during some small talk

I thought nothing of it until getting back to the airbnb and reading Milwarriorkee's latest (?) prophecy.  clearly this Milwaukee resident was sent to tell me that Marquette will meet Duke i.e. Devils Tower in the round of 32

Literally the first person I spoke to after we were announced in the tournament was a random gal who was a South Carolina grad. She said we would likely win.

This one was not as clear an my November 2016 Vision that led me to correctly predict the 2017 Big East Tournament winner.

My best interpretation:

Marquette will win NO LESS than two (2) games in this year's tournament
One game will have historical significance.
A major player will not play
A game will hinge on an ambiguous rule interpretation

Doubt me at your own risk.  Some will never learn.

Safe to say you'll take all Marquette teams into account for the first, the second could refer to any game in either the men's or women's tournament (such as the first UConn game which will have historical significance by extending the nation's longest winning streak), any major player missing any game (or simply saying Syracuse and Indiana not making the dance are a major "player" not playing), and I'm pretty sure every tourney has the fourth as well.

So basically...all you're saying in the men and women will account for two wins. Wow. Bold.

Posts like this will lead you to more shame and embarrassment.  Sadly, some are unable to learn.  I will clarify that the first statement (no less than two games won) undoubtedly refers to the Marquette Men's Basketball Team.

Undoubtedly.

I have no problem with you being right, I just want to make sure you aren't shifting the goalposts after the fact. Willing to clarify any of the other statements, or am I pretty much dead on regarding those?

You needed a vision to predict that Nova would win the BET? I think you should get somebody else to handle your finances from now on

His vision was picking Marquette to win the BET, and he claimed that came true with the women's win over DePaul.

My belief is that all of the statements pertain to Marquette Men's Basketball Team in this year's tournament.  But there was some slight ambiguity as to the other statements, so I can only state the first one as a fact.  The Visions are never wrong.   However, my interpretation can be, so I try to be careful as to what I state as the facts that will come to pass.

This is why in November when I told you that Marquette would win the BET, I did not qualify it with the Men's or Women's.  For those of you that believe that was a lucky guess...look back to that post and see how there was no doubt in my statement.  And ask, when is the last time EITHER Marquette team won a conference tournament?  The Vision showed me what would come, and I simply relayed the information to those I thought would value it.  It did come to pass many months later, and still some doubt and ridicule.  Shame.

Am I to assume that this year's tournament refers only the 2017 NCAA's or does it refer to the 2017 NCAA's and the 2017 Maui Invitationals later this year?

I had not considered this.  My belief was that it referred to the NCAA tournament, but it is possible.  Remember I am only the messenger.
