Keys to prime-time Guac:Don't get fancy.Ripe Hass Avo'sHIgh quality 🍅 (I usually go vine)Red onionCilantro LimeA touch of olive oilA dash of cuminSalt Habenero pepper. Tips: Don't use too much lime juiceUse 1/3 of the Habenero seedsDo not mash the crap out of the Avos with the other diced veggies.
have you ever smoked guacamole in your green mountain?
is it true if ya leave the avacado pit in your gwac, it will keep it from turning brown?
Al McGuire never ate guacamole and neither will I
Take out the onions and cilantro. Usually do jalepenos instead of habeneros but that sounds solid. Pit and saran wrap definitely needed if you want it to be any good beyond the day you make it.
Yes, but it's never quite as good as the first eating. And you need to seal the guac with the pit in tight saran wrap.
Picked this up at Costco (of course its in a 20 pack). Not quite guacamole, but really good on toast with a sunny side up egg on top.https://goodfoods.com/product/avocado-mash-4-pack/
Thin layer of water on top of the guac. Then the Saran Wrap has to be tight to the water line and seal the bowl. It’ll last a day or two. And take out cilantro? Are you nuts?
Why on earth would you do that? Just buy 🥑 🥑 🥑 and salt and pepper them yourself. it takes 20 secs.
