Had an absolute blast at the game this year. More MU fans than I can recall in the 2007 game. I did both pre- and post-game celebrations at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. There was a line that went around the corner at one point just to get in. Absolutely packed like sardines with MU fans spilling out on the sidewalk to drink their beers out there. Had a great time talking to an early 80's grad who was friends with Doc Rivers. I am heading back there on Wednesday night, as so far MU is 5-0 when I watch the game there. Any others from DC heading back there on Wednesday?

Flying out tomorrow morning as I have meetings in WI on Tuesday and Wednesday and then staying in MKE for the game and the rest of the week.

Hangover gone yet?

I think we kept Miller and Gatorade in business this weekend....

Hope to see you there, Norm.  Going for the post-game on Saturday was my first time there, even though I've lived out here for six months now.  I'm hoping I can get out of work in time to make it down there and actually meet some fellow DC area MU alums this time.

This weekend was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. DC was a lot of fun. Georgetown bars, immediately after the game were fun. It was awesome to watch the Gtown fans look at me and my buddies in our gold shirts. You could see they wanted to say something but that they had no room to say anythign. One hell of a good time.
