SDSU seems super popular, but then again everyone said that about Morant and Murray St a few years ago and…welp.

Vermont +6 seems pretty inviting.  And after last night, St Mary’s -2.5 seems like an absolute gift

I followed Vermont all season since one of my daughters is a student there.  UVM lost 2 games earlier in the season when they were missing like two of their starters.  They gave Providence a good game in Providence.

PC -2, BSU +3, SMC -2, SDSU -2, UCONN -6.5, CSU +3 (wouldn't bet it at the current +1.5)

Likely not betting any of these games but that's where I'd lean.

My posted picks here have been brutal lately, so fade away.

I think the lines this year for the first round are pretty good. Last year's tournament was very good to me, the first half totals feel more spot on last year (I doubt we'll ever see a run on first half unders like we did in last year's first round). I'll probably end up live betting this year more than last year.

First round lines I like:

Illinois -7.5 (this is my favorite line)
South Dakota State +115 (Every metric, every power rating, leans SDSU, I just can't ignore it)
Vermont +5
Colgate +8

I think UCLA to win the East Region at +450 has some value to it, but you'd might get better odds just rolling their moneyline straight through. My perceived value would only come from Baylor getting bounced this weekend, at that point the only game UCLA would be an underdog in would be the regional final against Kentucky (likely +140ish).

Going to add Creighton moneyline (+120) based on what I’ve seen from the MWC so far.

Jacob Gilyard under 2.5 three’s made (+105 on DK).

Gilyard hasn’t come out for even a second in the A10 tournament. 3 straight days, 120 minutes of floor time. Watched yesterday against Dayton, and it looked clear that he had no legs (3-13, 1-7 from 3). Davidson’s motion offense is going to make Richmond’s guards work defensively. With getting plus money, less than 24 hours rest, and everything mentioned above, I like the roll of the dice here on the under.

Thanks for this.

Read this post yesterday about him never sitting.

So I pounded over 2.5 3s and 14.5 pts.

Cash.

Lol, glad you read it yesterday and not on Sunday when I posted it because Sunday’s bet was no bueno.

Favorites are covering 10-2 so far in the tournament.

LSU first half -4.5 (alternate) at +162 on FD.

ISU’s starting lineup is really odd.

Terrible take here. I thought LSU might rally without Wade, but woof, they certainly have not.

Anyone liking Colgate +7.5 (badger animosity aside)?   I have Wisconsin in a 3 team parlay (auburn and nova covered).  Cash out or ride it?   Hedge by taking Colgate and points?

Colgate has a punchers chance because of how well they make 3’s but the Badgers will have some home cooking

Feel a little gross, barely cut a profit today and it was soley due to the Badgers late night win and going heavy on that.

Not a good day overall.

Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Kansas -11.5 over Creighton, who will be without their 5 and 1.

Seems like blowout waiting to happen, no?

Had a feeling I shoulda just done UNC ML

Instead I took them +5.5 and O149.

UNC is a lock. But need Baylor to really make a run to get the over

One game prop I always like is to play the underdog to be the first team to score 10 points. UNC was +135 in the opener, Creighton +190 (it’s 5-5 as I write this).

A lot of value on the underdog, as the beginning of a tournament game can be a total crapshoot.

Malik Willis to be second overall pick +500 on DK (it’s +400 elsewhere).

I’ve been convinced in my head ever since the end of the season when Detroit secured the second pick that they are going to go QB. If Hutchinson doesn’t go at 1, then I’d be surprised if Detroit didn’t take him. I think this is good value right now, as I think this number will drop to +300ish soon.

For those who use Bet Rivers, are you able to withdraw once you pass the state lines? A couple of friends and I heading to the IL sportsbook this weekend and downloaded the mobile app to get the free play. If we place our bets for the Sunday games in the morning, can we head home and cash out in WI and MN?

I know you can't place bets outside of IL, but not sure if you're able to withdraw.

I don't know, or use BR, but googling led me to believe the answer is "yes"

Which makes sense.  I had used DraftKings for awhile for DFS but had stopped.  When I was in NJ visiting family last year, I used the sportsbook section of the app to place some wagers.  Had a decent balance, came back to the Midwest, realized I didn't cash out.  Logged in and it wouldn't even let me access to withdraw.  Had to call my BIL and have him log into my account to do it.

I like Purdue tonight -12.5.

Objectively, I think Miami could blow out ISU, but they are a huge public side so that worries me. I liked UCLA before Jacquez re-aggravated his ankle injury.

Thoughts on Kansas/PC?
