Today we do a rapid run down the teams on the bubble and the 11 teams in contention for the last 8 bids. We also have an update on where Marquette stands and their most likely path when the Selection Committee reveals the bracket on Sunday. Finally, an updated S-Curve (but no bracket, that will be coming Sunday). Enjoy!

Brew - straighten PG32 out - IF UNC and AZ lose tonight, and we end up winning the BET by beating UCONN there would have to be some consideration as the final 1 seed no?

Ok #UnleashSean and Hards Alumni -
If we beat PV and UConn
And UNC loses
And AZ loses
And Iowa State Losses

Who is the 4th 1 seed. Make a case for whoever it is over MU. Give a name.
Sure even if all 5 of those games are 50/50, it's 1/32 chance it all falls that way.....still it's a chance and fans hope on chances like that.. if it doesn't happen and we get a 2 seed and even if a 3 seed. It's what a fan hopes on.
I think your logic and disposition would say NO CHANCE at a national championship.... Guess what I'm hoping on it!!

4th 1 Seed is UNC. They're not coming off that line with a loss to Pitt.

MU not getting a 1 seed.

They are pretty much locked in to a 2

And … btw … UCONN is going to repeat and win it all again. They are DAMN good

Had they both lost tonight and we beat UConn, might have been a slim chance. But with UNC winning I think they've locked that last 1-seed. Honestly, we probably lost our chance when Nova crapped the bed against DePaul (lost a Q1 win) and Providence beat Creighton (took away a Q1 opportunity).

But we're a 2-seed lock now.

They definitely are damn good. But ... we were within 5 of them late and had the ball - even though they played great, we were without our All-American PG, and Oso and Ross were still dragging.

Lots of really really good teams - including Marquette. I would take the field over UConn.
