Wojo killed it, it's time to bring it back.

#Unleash using anything to take a shot at Wojo, consider me shocked.

Wasn't it less that Titans died, and more that there was a demand to bring back Pray? That's the story I was told.  Either would be fine, having both would be overkill IMO.

Remember the titans was genuinely awesome. But it was getting a little long and we're hitting the point where some people would need to be cut, then people would flip out. I mean do we add Sam? Jamil? Rowsey? Lewis?

Do we add Omax? First round draft pick, part of a regular and tournament champ team, but zero all conference honors.

Keep pray, update some of the players in it.

HELL no to the bolded.

Would we have had he stuck around for his last year?  Absolutely.  Had a chance to be an all time great at MU, but instead became an afterthought and went to a program that had just won a Natty and achieved nothing for them.

Was just sort of trolling with that one to be honest but the general point remains that it's getting long. We had players on there that weren't really all time greats and that the NBA isn't the barometer of success it once was.

Remember the Titans > Pray

I'll die on this hill.

The Pray video came out when I was a undergrad at Marquette. I still get goosebumps every time I see it at the Fiserv. For me: Pray > Remember the titans

Modern pray or old pray? The modern one doesn't have the same "tough" attitude I think but still hits. The old one I still get pumped up when I hear it, actually listened to it before a few boxing matches back in the day.

Old pray. The pray video was based on a converse advertisement that came out in 2008. So I was attending MU when the first pray video happened.

Here is the first pray video ever: https://twitter.com/MUOverload/status/1460343435077066757

Here is last years version: https://twitter.com/MUOverload/status/1636416660700643339

Here is the 2017 NMD version: https://twitter.com/MUOverload/status/1199731180368793600

Here is the 2020 version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Pelh3xtRhY

Here is the 2016 version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ty7c355zi8&t

That is all the versions I have bookmarked. When I have more free time, I will try and find more versions like the MUBB sicko I am. Enjoy!

If you are on a cell phone you may have to slide the page to the left slightly to see the play arrow after selecting a video.

Praying is always good. I'm glad to see that MU is no longer the prey but the predator.

For 1996, I'd argue it's pretty well done.

When I was a kid I thought the Bulls intro above from the same year always seemed so advanced.  Now it looks awful.
