Carlino what a joke.

He drives to his into a guy as the worst 2pt shooter and flails. Then gets a T.

Sit hkm and derrick

Your starting guards are 4 for 15, with Carlino at 3 for 10 from field.

Free throws again are terrific with 2 for 6.  Keep it up boys.

In last nine games, Derrick Wilson is 14 for 48, a torrid 29%............

Can't win any games like that, but at least not getting pummeled on boards because SJ chucking up bombs.

He took a horribly forced shot. Then decides he's going to blame the ref and give St Johns two free points going into half with .7 seconds.

NOPE. That senior would be on the bench the rest of the game. I don't care if the Mache kids have to play then. No excuse for that sort of selfishness.

That's true but it's not their fault. They are just role players forced to play big minutes. You can blame for failing to recruit anyone his last two years of coaching.

Yep, still not super effective overall but he's finally not playing soft.  I chalk that up as progress, and in the one area I was hoping to see it most.  Next would be decent defense.  A guy who gives guys bruises who they can't pay pay by scoring on has some value.

How was that a jump ball? St Johns had it stuck between their legs. Steve had both hands on it.

I'm pretty sure Carlino and Duane have been injured since the first half.

I was just having fun with the title of the children's book. But, yes, they are awful this year.

The performance from this team is all on Buzz. Can't imagine how we would have fielded a team without having Carlino and Luke fall in our laps. I still don't understand how Buzz gets us deep into NCAA for 3 years by developing Jimmy Butler and some credit for Wes Mathews. Then gives scholarships to some of the worst 4 year players (Anderson and Wilson) who never develop or improve in that time  JJJ, don't let the door hit you on the way out. The door would probably miss Taylor like his shot misses the basket. I still think Buzz, in his warped mind planned his departure and talent vacuum in response to not getting his way with the program. Now we have a long rebuilding process to endure. Wojo already on the clock....

Luke's free throws are either flat or really flat.  I wonder if he's ever been shown video of his shot?
At this level, he must have seen some video.  But heck, maybe not.  Seeing yourself exhibit poor form can be a very effective motivator.

Anyway, his FT % will continue to be substandard until he starts putting some arc on his shots.
