Does Three Body Problem get better as it goes on? I couldn't even make it through the first ep because the whole thing seems to hinge on this gif

We're about halfway through and enjoying it.

Also just finished the first season of Killing Eve. That's really good. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are both excellent.

Fallout was fun. Another case of enjoying a show I didn't even know was based on a video game until well into the season.

Though post-apocalyptic like The Last Of Us, the similarity mostly ends there. It's not as good as TLOU - but few series have been, so that's not really criticism.

The always-great Walton Goggins plays a central character with an interesting backstory, and the two other leads are good too. Fallout is  gory as hell, but it's also funny quite often. Recommend.

Watched it and played some of the games.  It does them justice.  Good show.

Too cartoonish for me. Watched one episode and didn’t go back for more.

That's why there are a bazillion shows out there. Everything isn't for everybody.

For example, the creative minds behind Westworld were also behind Fallout. I tried to watch Westworld 3x and I just couldn't get into it. But lots of people (and critics) thought it was great. And that's OK!

Yup. Generally, we are pretty close as far as what we like.

With Westworld, I’m with you 100%. 1st season was alright and it went downhill till I finally gave up on it.

Watched "Unfrosted" on Netflix.  Great cast.  Horrible movie.

The book trilogy story was tremendous, though a bit of a slog to read because of Chinese translated to English.  Haven't started the series though.
I am guessing they've changed almost all of it for TV since it was a China-centric story.

Binged the 4 episodes that are already available of Under the Bridge on Hulu.  Think it's pretty good and will watch the last 4 as they come out.

We really enjoyed Under the Banner of Heaven. I would imagine LDS folks not so much.

I was unsure on that one. I will give it a try.

Watching A Man In Full. Good show, Jeff Daniels (as usual) shines.

It took me a minute to realize that it was an adaptation of the Tom Wolfe novel and then I got very pumped.  The novel, like The Bonfire of the Vanities, is incredible.  But I have high hopes this adaptation is better than Brian De Palma's disaster take on Bonfire.

We just watched wecrashed on Apple.

It was OK. Jared Leto was great as usual, and Anne Hathaway played her character well, but the series could have been 3-4 episodes instead of 8. Lots of repeated themes over and over again.

Watched the first 2 episodes of The Veil on Hulu. They are introducing a ton of stuff in a very short time (episodes are only about a half-hour), so it's a little muddled, but we'll give it a chance. The premise is promising.

Adam Scott says that Severance S2 is "coming out in the somewhat near future" Hopefully, that doesn't mean 15 months...like it often seems with such things.

My daughter and I have been re-watching S1 in anticipation.

We watched "Unfrosted."

Wow, was that horrible.   Like, I felt bad for Seinfeld it was so pathetic.

Could not watch the whole thing, had to fast-forward to get through it.

They had enough content for an SNL skit, but they stretched it to 93 minutes.

Fallout on Prime is great, based on video game I never played and don’t anything about, didn’t feel lost or anything.

Pretty gory, but not surprisingly Walter Goggins steals every scene he is in.

Starting to think Seinfeld was more about Larry David. Pretty much the only other thing of his that I’ve liked is his series with comedians and coffee - but that’s usually because the other guys are funny.

Wife and I tried to watch this together. Like TLoU, I played the video games and she didn't. Unlike TLoU, there is a universe established over decades that this game operates in, and she felt the learning curve was too steep.

For someone who played, it maintained all of the charm, absurdity of all of it.

Neither my wife nor I have ever played the video games upon which those series are based. We loved TLOU and we liked Fallout.

We didn't even know TLOU was based on a video game until after we had watched several episodes.

I made it through 3 episodes but felt the same way.

Just finished two other series.

Baby Reindeer was troubling, a very difficult watch but compelling and well done.

Bodkin started very slowly but finished strong.

I’d recommend both.
