Gotta be Kolek. Set it all up in the first half, then scored it himself when they tried to take away the pass in the second. He's developed into an amazing player.

Stevie Mitchell for his defense on Spears.

Georgetown has only one real threat and that was Spears, second in BE scoring.

Spears went 2 for 12, four turnovers and 8 total points. One of his two made baskets was on a “hanger” basket after MU turnover, and all of his free throws were not fouls against Mitchell.  Cut the head off the snake and it’s dead meat.

Mitchell also had a nice offensive game.

Stevie is a good out-of-the-box choice. Your post made me look at the box score -- 5 points, 1 assist wouldn't be the standard definition of "a nice offensive game," but he certainly had a major positive impact on the game.

I'll stick with Kolek, though.

Such a great team effort today.  It’s tough to single out anyone.  The bench was huge today.  Three starters had 14 points.  Kolek was his usual awesome.  But given his recent struggles, I pick Oso.  This was the game he needed:

Oso!

Kolek - the way the game changed when he returned in the 2nd half was incredible.
Mitchell for the D... He had one job... and he did it VERY well - and scored a bit too

The beach was huge today.

Thank goodness. Erosion had been a real concern.
