MU Varsity Esports Ready for First Season
« on: November 06, 2019, 02:40:15 PM »
Team’s permanent competitive space will be in half of the Brooks Lounge in the Alumni Memorial Union. The goal is to have the space ready by the start of the League of Legends season in January.

Esports has nine teams: Rocket League, Rainbow Six (Siege), Call of Duty, Counter Strike, two League of Legends teams and two Super Smash Bros teams. The Rocket League team and one of the League of Legends teams will compete on the varsity level.

I will not recognize this as legitimate until they add Centipede and Mario Brothers.

But what do the uniforms look like?  Are they available in the Spirit Shop?

Burger Time

I came here to post that.   In Junior year, at the competitive level that we were .. one game of BT would take 3 hours, minimum.

THE HORROR!

The unfortunate part is most players in these college teams would compare to 9th men on a d5 high school team. Maybe 1 player on each team has a shot at say the d2 college level.

Most real players don't bother with the college scene.
