I was driving through the Marquette Interchange this morning and saw a guy speeding up from behind, weaving lanes.

I knew his next move .. floor it to ~85, then squeeze in front of me and .. I let him. 

I let him because .. the car in his lane was an unmarked sheriff's SUV.  Oopsies.

Oh, baby.   Lights on, pulled him over and I assume delivered a fresh bag of morning Arby's.

Probably one of the most satisfying feelings. I always hope that a cop is around when some idiots is weaving lanes, or uses the right hand turn lane to blow past traffic.

Instead, they seem to be where I am when I forget to turn my lights on...

I saw one of these a few weeks ago when driving on I71 in Ohio.  I had gotten a warning from Waze that there were police up ahead, and then in the distance I saw to Troopers camped out on the median.  Around the same time, I saw a guy in my rear-view mirror racing up in the right lane.  He passed me on the right, cut across both lanes into the left lane and kept passing people.  He was going at least 85.  I watched it all unfold and kept waiting for him to notice the troopers and hit his brakes.  He never did and, of course, got pulled over immediately after he passed them.  It was glorious.  Made my day.

Have you been using Arby's as a metaphor this entire time?  Because someone who loves Arby's would never use it as a euphemism.

I dunno.  I think I'm using Arby's as a simile.  Sometimes as an allusion or an idiom.

Also .. you don't love Arby's.   You tolerate it.  You eat it because we're all dying and you might as well eat Arby's to pass the time.

Every time I convince myself that the doomsayers who think the world will end soon because of humans are nuts, I come to a 4-way stop with multiple other cars.  Then I'm not so sure.  Is the concept of right of way at a 4 way stop really that difficult?  I honestly  believe many people think they simply need to stop for a count of three and then they can go regardless of other cars.

I also don't get the people who move over to the right turn lane to make a turn, and then swerve back left into the driving lane in the process of making their turn. Are they really that unaware of the lane markings and their purpose?
