Depends on whether it’s a Friday afternoon before a long weekend. Congratulations, it is!

Thanks for reminding me that I need to go home and drink the last remaining Castle Danger Cream Ale I have stashed in the beer fridge.
Happy Labor Day everyone!

A Wet Willie is now a battery offense.  Behave yourselves boys on your fishing trip or it could turn ugly.

My niece and her husband just bought a house in Menomonee Falls. It was full of MU memorabilia, so they assumed it was owned by an alum. They were right...and the alum was none other than The Grimm Reaper!

I thought that was kinda cool.

I’m bored. I don’t really feel like watching TV or going anywhere. I am thinking maybe a nap, but I am open to low-effort ideas.

Before you do, can you grab me another Schlitz Malt Liquor? I have been sitting so long on this bean bag chair my legs fused to the pleather and I can't get up, aina?

Where should I take my son to lunch today in MKE? He is a Freshman at MU, somewhere that he wouldn’t go to with his buddies. Thanks.

Recently ate here and really enjoyed it: https://www.theknickrestaurant.com/

Probably outside a freshman's price range, but not Mason St. Grill prices either.

I'm not sure who all will be open today or what you're in the mood for. If you're looking at steaks, 5 O'Clock is still near campus; I'm also a fan of Jackson Grill on 37th and Mitchell. Burgers, skip Sobelman's and drive across the expressway to Oscar's on 17th and Pierce. For small plates, my favorite is Odd Duck in Bayview, though Story Hill BKC on around 50th and Bluemound is also nice.

Are you from out of town?   Kinda changes the advice.

Safehouse is an interesting option.  Pizza Man.  Bel air Cantina.   Milwaukee Ale House.  Riverfront Pizza.  Smokeshack BBQ.  Wicked Hop.

Art's Performing Center has a nice buffet.  Bring lots of singles.
