When traveling, I lean toward TripAdvisor versus Yelp.

This is funny, I rarely used either of those sites - and was surprised to see so many yelp users here.  I mostly just use reviews on google maps.  Is this an iPhone vs android thing, or you folks just don't use google maps explore feature enough?

Of course, google does aggregate some reviews from the web, so likely I am reading some yelp and TripAdvisor in their reviews too.

It's a chain.  It has chain-quality pizza.
Have some patience, FFS.

I use Google maps too but those are usually the closest, not the best nor the most unique.  Plus, the reviews are mostly ratings, not much on the full context as it seems they truncate them.

Their Italian beef is much better than Portillo’s.

Chick is right about the pizza, but the crust has a unique taste. Kinda like Barnabys...a chain but a unique taste and texture.

We actually had Rosati's on Thursday, a friend brought it over. It was okay. Better than a Pizza Hut or Papa John's, but not as good as a local place or if I made it myself.

My BIL is related to a Rosati.  He brings me their beef.  Pretty good.

I'd call rosati's non-chain chain.  I don't think they franchise, which can help.

Pretty sure there were 3 brothers involved, 1 in Chicago area, 1 in WI, 1 in AZ, as those were the 3 places that they ran.  Didn't know they were in the Cities.

They are definitely above Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc.  Not as good as they local hole in the wall.   Good greasy thin crust, if that's your thing.

They are definitely above...Dominos...

I was with someone who ordered Dominos not too long ago, and I was pleasantly surprised.  Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to order from one of a few local places that I like, but it was much, much better than the last time I had Dominos (which was probably 10+ years ago).  I thought it was a lot better than Pizza Hut or Papa John's, but that's not a very high bar.

Dominos has improved; not like the Minnesota Twins from 1990 to 1991... more like Cleveland Browns 2017 regular season to 2018 pre-season.  The consensus is that it's an improvement, but it's hard to tell how much of said improvement is because it's actually better or because you thought it couldn't get any worse.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I know Ohio St is the epitome institutional corruption and enablement not just for the NCAA but for organizations on the whole but isn't it about time we schedule a home and home with them?

Well said. I would like to be on record that, as a native East Coaster and former Chicagoan with high pizza standards, Domino's pan pizza is totally decent.

Pizza night in the naginiF house!

4 servings of dough from the local Italian deli....each to his own.  Mine was:
Pesto
shallot
garlic
mushroom (combo white and shiitake)
Parmesan and a touch of ricotta
Italian sausage (don't ask me what it was made from)
two eggs cracked in the middle
salt and pepper to taste

Fantastic!!!

Something that tastes like crap. Only reason to put horseradish on something is to try and not taste whatever it is you're eating.

I wouldnt suggest putting this on top, but a horseradish cheddar can be very tasty.

Disagree. Horseradish is good to add some zing to most smoked meats. Ham & sausage both come to mind. Good with prime rib as well.
