I wonder if he's Freeway.

Hmmmm.... Doubtful. I don't think Freeway can create a list that long without mentioning the Cincinnati Bearcats.

So, you working for Aldi or what?

I do not work at Aldi nor was I compensated by Aldi in any way.

I wonder if he's Freeway.

No.  I doubt Freeway's Zack Morris cellphone has internet capabilities.

Aldi is for poor people only.

Your loss.

I've only been to Aldi's once. The meat and produce looked awful, and some of the canned goods we bought were expired.

I get that most chains have "nicer" stores and "not as nice" stores...but any chain that would let that store bear its name isn't worth my time. And it wasn't old or in a terrible neighborhood.

Saw the Eagles last night.

Should have been billed as Joe Walsh as the headliner. He was simply outstanding. Guitar play and vocals were stunning.

Funk Number 49 was moving. Not bad for a guy with three brain cells left. I can only attribute his conciousness to him eating Sonoran salsa.  That stuff has the potential to cure cancer, bring about world peace, and restore life to aging psychedelic guitarists.

Joe Walsh = great
Eagles = over rated

Hope some of y'all are catching Spoon tonight in Milwaukee.  Saw them Friday night here and, per usual, they killed it

Saw Joe Walsh last year, he opened for Tom Petty at one of his last concerts.  Told the story about how he sang Life’s been good to me in a karaoke bar once, and a patron told him nobody could sing that song but Joe Walsh, and he wasn’t even close.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

Question .. when two people say the same thing at the same time and the jinx protocol begins .. Person 1 says JINX and counts to 10.    What can Person 2 do during that count to stop the jinx before forever being doomed to silence / having someone call out their name?

Stick a Red Delicious in Person 1's mouth while counting to 10.

Invoke the JINX immunity articles... which is essentially an affirmed commitment to acting as though you're more than 10 years old for perpetuity.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Gil replaced Craig Lee Fuller as lead of Pure Prairie League. Changed the whole vibe and not for the better.

A group of Iron Claws were drinking in a Tokyo bar when we ran into Walsh. He had no idea there was an aircraft carrier homeported at Tokyo Bay. He took the train down the next day to Yokosuka where we met him at the Main Gate and showed him around the Midway. He was like a kid in a candy shop. Just a regular dude who is fascinated by cool sh1t like aircraft carriers.

A colleague has a Maserati. The interior is beautifully appointed but what an unreliable piece of sh1t.

Sounds a lot like me when I visited the Midway in San Diego a couple years ago.  Wife and kids were begging to leave, and I was still wandering all over the place.  Good thing I had the car keys.

BTW - Who are/were the Iron Claws?
