I need to file a formal complaint with the mods.

When I brought up the website, it showed me an ad for a vacuum cleaner.

WTF?  That's some sexist algorithm right there.

It took me to a Jessica Drake video.

P0847 code on 2008 civic. Looks like transmission pressure switch.  Gonna choke down a Fuji apple and get after it.  Anyone else ever work on this code?

This switch is a booger to get at.  May need to put it on a hoist.   Or get a bigger hammer.

I’ve torn apart a Subaru H6 down to the block, but fortunately, I never had to work on a tranny.  Hopefully you can get to the pressure switch, or at least to the corroded wire terminals.

I found an excuse to get an impact wrench this weekend. Mega-torque.

Gonna go find some bolts to remove....

Are the tools made by STANLEY (Kubrick)??

This reminded me of watching the Martian a couple weeks ago.  Generally, I enjoyed it.  After it was over, I decided to google it to see how f'ing ridiculous the science was, and I was absolutely astonished to see that it was actually hailed for being one of the more scientifically accurate sci-fi movies.  I guess that shows how little I know about science.

I watched Dr. No (the first Bond movie) a few weeks back. It was made in '63 and I hadn't seen it in many years. Their version of futuristic gadgets was pretty amusing. In particular, Dr. No's control room looked like a set in an elementary school play.

And now you have an excuse to buy a bigger compressor.

Taking off axle nuts is the best part of any job.... feeling that kind of power in your hand, you feel like you could rule the world, despite the fact that you don't even rule the entire garage.

Unfortunately, I didn't go the pneumatic route because it's probably a one-time (or maybe a couple-times) job -- replacing a couple of boiler gaskets on my espresso machine. It's a heavy mother (borderline commercial-grade), and I discovered that I could get all the parts and tools for less than the cost of just shipping the machine for repairs. No brainer....

In a couple years, I may upgrade to a full commercial (Victoria Arduino, La Marzocco or Slayer) machine. Now that will be fun!

My compressor just crapped out on me.  Time for a trip to Sears.

Anyone got a recommendation on a good value for a compressor?  Use it most for lug nuts, etc.

Harbor Freight compressors are decent enough for the money.
