Black eye gets it, with respect to Rowsey.

Damn, it makes for a great Saturday when we crush the Vadgers....

1.  Give it up for AR.  I know he had the dumb technical in the beginning of the game, but he was lights out.  The kid's got some stones.
2.  Matt.  Nice defense on Happ.  I know he got his points, but he could have really gone off on us.  Matt also made a few shots for us.
3.  M2N.  Fouls suck, but he is so good.  When Rowsey went out, Markus stepped it up.
4.  Sammy hit some big shots.  We need him to go off more.

Geez, I like what Jamal brings to the table.  He is gonna be a good one.

Nice coaching job Wojo!  Go Warriors!

Heldt for holding Happ under 30, Theo would of had tough time doing that.  Heldt blocked two shots and Happ had 5 turnovers and only 17 points.  Nice job.

Rowsey.  He was the absolute key to the second half surge.  Kudos to Matty who did one helluva job on Happ.

I'd give it to Rowsey for his play in beginning of the second half. When the Badgers cut it close Rowsey scored 11 straight for MU. He stepped up after acting like a hothead. Markus was Markus...just right behind.

Unsung heroes definitely Sam and Heldt. Everyone did their thing.

Rowsey.

He can frustrate me at times (and did today) but my lord does that kid feed off being the heel. Great game!

I agree with this analysis.

1. Rowsey - Won the game for us when Wisco made their run
2. Sammy - I think it was his help defense on Happ that gave him fits. He was also on Iverson/Ford for a lot of the game and held them to 4/10 from the floor. Offense wasn't bad either.
3. Heldt - Didn't back down from Happ and found a way to get involved on offense. Bonus points for the shiner

HM - All the MU faithful at the game. Love hearing a very loud "We are Marquette" in the Kohl Hole on the broadcast

Heldt is very very worthy.  So is Howard (led the team in rebounds and played a long time without fouling)...but Rowsey's play in the 2nd half were instrumental.  Played well all around except for the dumb T.

So Rowsey is SOTG.

Cam't be Rowsey because of the brain dead technical followed by the brain dead attempt to block a jump shot.
Markus was money and he gets my vote.

But I have no problem if the award goes for defense and heart and keeping Happ from going off.    Well done, Matt.

Rowsey, Heldt, Hauser, and Howard are all viable choices.

I'll say Heldt because we all knew the only ways Bucky won were Happ going off or their shooters getting hot off Happ's passing out of the post. Happ was the key and they never really stood a chance because he couldn't assert himself how he needed to.
