Was about to say, I thought the defense was pretty decent. People are never satisfied.

Rowsey smh

Purdue isn't very good. Unfavorable match up for us so we probably lose without consistent offense. More experienced Theo and Frolling would help.

But not worried about them in the BIG10 as a side gopher supporter.

I am looking forward to seeing Froling mixed in with this bunch.

Theo’s 3rd hurts. He’s a player for sure. No fear as a freshman.

I don't know that Sam would have been as effective against Haas as he was against Haarms.    Haas would have just backed down, turned and shot over Sam just as easily as he did over Matt.      Goaltend on that last play.

Nice defensive effort, especially given the inability to score until the final 3 minutes.  Plan may be to up the pressure to spark the offense, which might also help stop the points they were getting by just shooting over our guys inside.

Theo with 3 PF, Heldt with 2 and ineffective defense--we may find out in the 2H if Sam can defend Haas

Cheatham had three shots blocked on drives, all left handed.  Just like last year in BE games.  If keeps it up, more Sacar and Elliott.

Theo is a big guy, but lets hope he can stay on the floor, he will be needed.

Additionally we should hit heldt at least a couple times on his rolls.  He is pretty adept ar finishing on the roll.  Key tonthe first half was we went at Haas 2 times nnhe fouled both times. Hit heldt a few times on the roll and go at Haas.  Offensively haas is absolutely huge and can finish need to tey to front him n apply ball pressure to deny the penetration pass.  Best way to stop a post presence is heavy ball pressure

Make Haas move his feet and he sucks.

That little bump he has on Markus for his first foul amateur.

Gotta make him move and get him out of game

Didn't see the St. Mary's game. Theo looks like he will be a beast when he gets a little more experience. GE looks like he will be fun to watch about 30 pounds from now. I worry about Hannif. Warriors shoot a little better in the second half and I like our chances. Stating the obvious but MU could use Frolling, soon right..... Go Warriors.

Henry is here, so that may be an option.

I do not understand the Haanif criticism.   The offense is bogging down, he takes it aggressively to the rim and gets swatted by a 7'3 guy and some see this as proof that he hasn't gotten better ?!?!    7'3!    I want Haanif taking that opportunity every damned time!  They aren't all going to be 7'2 and 7'3.

We gotta start fronting Haas. Stopping his touches is the only way we can defend him right now.

Haani is fine. I think spreading the floor and going small is going to have to be the plan. Heldt is uselsss out there tonight.

I hope you are right, I really do but so far it just reminds me too much of last year. Really only one half of ball so small sample size, but I do worry.
