T-Rank has done some awesome things this summer.  Latest is Teamcast, using your schedule to predict whether you will be in the tournament or not.

I'd take an 8 seed and run.  Oh, and look at who's the first team out.   8-)

It doesn't include 2nd and 3rd round tournament games (for obvious reasons) so that could impact the results. Some of these are interesting. Auburn as a 3 seed? South Carolina as 6 seed (after their team got decimated by graduation and transfers?). 7 SEC teams with top 6 seeds? Creighton WAY on the outside. Big 10 with only 2 top 7 seeds. I think this is one of those systems were certain stats can disproportionally skew a team in one direction or another. But its definitely an interesting read, and certainly wouldn't mind if it was true.
