Centennial Videos (All in one place)
« on: June 30, 2017, 09:56:29 AM »
Wojo and Marquette should be immensely proud of this event.  Extremely well done. An all-timer.  Once in a lifetime event.

Many myths from here were destroyed in these interviews.  Nickname addressed.  Great stories, Wade's recruiting ranking,  Wesley destroying the Badgers, worth the one hour or so.

Murffius is on the first panel (John Glaser).

My question is how did crean not get booed?

Because the number of Marquette alumni who are actually bitter enough against Tom Crean to boo him at an event celebrating Marquette's accomplishment is very small and pretty much confined to scoop.

Booing would have been really poor.  People acted classy at a high-class event.
While my friends and I retain the nickname, the evil Crean, the hatchet has been buried.
Wes's Wisconsin comment was really hilarious.  Got one of the biggest cheers of the night.

My feelings on TC are no secret but booing him at a Marquette function in which he's participating would be beyond the pale. Boo his TV screen image at the Bradley Center if you want (though it seemed kind of juvenile to me).

It would have been in poor taste, despite how much of a douche both Crean and O'Neill are.  Both have made lists like this.  Not well liked people.

Is this one better?  http://deadspin.com/5781089/a-reminder-that-kevin-oneill-is-one-of-college-basketballs-all-time-great-pretty boys

Or this one? http://ballinisahabit.blogspot.com/2009/06/more-response-to-kevin-oneill-hiring.html

There had to be 15+ to choose from Kevin O'Neil is a dick, douche, jerk, pretty boy.  Tom Crean, every bit the number to choose from, if not more.  Kevin got a little bit of break coaching on the west coast and not being as successful (fewer pot shots). Both guys not liked very much.

I don't have a Problem with a persons opinion, Only when they fail to own it, by omitting their Name.

Just a way of compiling a Writer/Posters Resume. That all
