MU Women Up Close & Personal...
« on: March 24, 2017, 07:20:44 PM »
I train and coach boxing at a gym in downtown MKE. A couple members of the successful MU women's team came in to try out the sport. It's hard to miss two young ladies that tall wearing identical MU t-shirts.

I walked up, said hello and congratulated them. They were bright, friendly and clearly in good spirits post upset. I didn't get the individual names as I didn't want to hold them up, but very gracious and classy reps of Marquette University. Be proud.

(I hope they come back. It'd be great training fighters with that kind of reach!)

Well, I thought this was going to take a real awkward turn after the title and first line.

So glad to see the women's team is finally getting some love.

This is an exciting team with tons of potential and I am really looking forward to next year.

I am actually thinking about getting season tickets next year.  They are very reasonable, and it gets you extra priority points
Have some patience, FFS.

I can assure you that you won't regret getting the season tickets.  This is a fun team to watch and there's not a bad seat in the Al.  And they need and deserve more fans supporting them.

I noticed the extra priority points thing when they sent out the package a while back. How much are they per seat? I'd definitely consider picking some up.

One point for each consecutive year.
