JB tweeted out the final play. That was very Vlade tipping it out to Horry for three at the buzzer.

Hopefully Theo can be the glass-eater we need next season.  Having someone who can rebound and rim protect will go a long way to addressing this year's weaknesses.

He'll fit in nicely here, where all of our rebounding was offensive.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

NAILED IT!

I can't wait for next seasons memes! Howard only hits the easy 3's.
Rowsey only hits the easy free throws.
Theo John only gets the easy rebounds.
Harry only gets the easy accent loving ladies...(too far?)

But honestly huge game by Theo. He and Cain and Ike will be a necessary help. Can't wait.

One thing about champlin park that i don't think a lot of scoopers know is that last year they played Stevens Point with Sam and Joey Hauser and lost to them

After this past season even getting the easy rebounds will be an improvement.

Theo got crushed on that last play. Didn't see ball go in and was down on the court during celebration. Just going off the clips out there, maybe he was fine.

We weren't really that bad on the boards.  Pretty mediocre.

Yeah, below average, but not as bad as many of us feared. Defense was a much bigger problem than rebounding.

Theo John has a tremendous work ethic. He will do very well  at MU.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

That was an amazing finish.  I never expect too much from freshmen, especially big men, but I am growing more optimistic about TJ's prospects at MU.  Definitely fits what we need right now.

Is the guy that took the shot available as a replacement for Rowsey?  (when Chairman Row's reign has come to an academic conclusion)

Theo John lay on the Target Center floor Wednesday, a sinking feeling in his stomach.

Champlin Park’s 6-8 senior center didn’t see teammate Sam DuBois’ desperation game-winning three-pointer. He was lying face down, having just gotten clobbered while tipping the ball toward DuBois.

“I didn’t see it,” John said. “I got dragged to the floor, my head hit the floor. I blacked out. All of a sudden, I hear the crowd going crazy. At first, I thought Chaska had hit a half-court shot.”

John looked up and saw his teammates celebrating. His feelings changed quickly.

“That was the best feeling of my life,” John said. “Sam is always in the right place at the right time. I’m very thankful he’s on our team. I’m speechless.

Theo put up 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks tonight in the MN State Semis; also had a sick putback dunk toward the end of the game. Dominating performance to lead his team to the State Finals against Tre Jones (brother of Tyus) and Apple Valley on Saturday night.

Rebounding can't be a problem when the other team never misses!

If it's worth it to you, you can buy a pass for $9.95 and watch it live online tomorrow night at 8pm here: https://video.grandstadium.tv/home.aspx

Otherwise, it's on channel 12 & 812 in the Twin Cities area.
