Free market in action,  baby.

Ticketmaster also sells aftermarket tickets.  It's a pretty simple process for the seller and the take on the seller's end isn't too bad. That's where I sell mine if I can't make it to the game. if I'm upset with the team's recent performance, weak opponent, or if I'm just being lazy.

Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

so sell out on paper? or is every seat gonna have an ass in it like the Wisco game?

?

Do you not understand English?  A "sell out" is when every ticket is sold.  Period.  You can have a sell out with a bunch of no shows.  But that's not what he asked.

My 2 cents

The sellout back-n-forth is ridiculous. But everyone has a right to debate the sky is blue I guess.

I have an experience season ticket where they assign the seat 24 hrs in advance. Wonder what I'll get.

If you can get that promo, I think they have something like 100 seats at $100/season. Upside price and 2 seats together, downside seats could be anywhere and can't resell. Our Nova seats were lower bowl.

I'm curious though if tickets that we give to local organizations are counted though. Wasn't depaul doing a bunch of that to boost their "official attendance numbers" even though actual attendance was dramatically lower?

For the UW game?  I doubt it.

I went to the MU ticket office yesterday for two tickets and only a scattering of singles were left at $28 a piece.  Kinda wish I had nabbed them because I'm now on the outside looking in.

Any suggestions as to where I can pick up 2 tix on the street?
Last night they sent a tweet that they had some obstructed view left

JB, sometimes you really need to take context, poster, and poster history into consideration before you do your ass-hat thing.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

I'm pumped. Making the drive down today. First game I'll have attended since the Michigan massacre and Pitt debacle at MSG in November. Hoping for a better result. Go MU!
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

A sellout is a sellout. Attendance is always tickets sold.

Head up for Senior Day vs Creighton. Only 1,400 tickets left for that game. You can get your tickets at the Bradley Center Ticket office. Save on those ticketmaster fees.

It isn't. One guy asked  directly if it's going to be where  every seat is going to be filled "like the wisconsin game". The next guy then directly asked if "Wisconsin was a sellout" - As in, "every seat was filled" I don't know why its so hard for you to understand, or why you are taking this to level 11. It was a simple question and already answered. Calm it down.

I'll go on record and say there has never been an athletic event in a major arena that has had "a butt in every seat."  So if that's the definition you want to go by for a "sellout" then there has never been a sellout in the history of sports.

I'm perfectly calm.  I am amazed however that you don't understand simple English.

IDK the cubs and indians had to have come mighty close. But regardless people are diverting away from the original question on such a major tangent. Johnny B asked if we thought it would be a packed house. Because we've had quite a few "17,000" attendance where half the arena filled. I don't know why everyone is getting so hung up on the word sellout. I guess maybe Johnny B should have realized that someone on the internet would hold him to the exact definition and freak out. Which happened. Lol. Maybe he should have used "actual capacity"

Unleash, chill brother. Let's hope we're 'packed'.  Last year's NMD was pretty damn close. University is doing a good job pushing it.

I guess I should never answer a question someone asks. You never know who might take the meaning of the word to an extreme. I just found it hilarious that he attacked me, and not the person who actually asked it. Seeya at the game big boy.

Marquette is quite good at selling tickets under this guise. Last five years, not quite great at getting every one of those ticket purchasers to show up to the game. Whether a full 18,717 show up or a more likely 16,500 show up, let's hope the crowd gives the team a lift unlike their passive attitude during the Butler game.

Nope.  Not a fan.  Messes up the timing of all the other events surrounding the game.

I am sure the only reason NMD is a night game this year was because it was the only weekend home game in February.
Have some patience, FFS.
