8-point dogs at Butler...

But of the next three games this is the most winnable. If JJJ is OK we have a decent shot at winning this one.

Chalkboard material for Wojo. That's too many points.

EDIT: Upon a full night's rest, the points are actually reasonable. In fact, looks like it's up to 8.5.

A ranked team at home SHOULD be favored by 8+  against a team like MU.   But MU can shoot.   If MU gets hot, they have a chance.

Yes. 8 pts sounds completely reasonable.

MU must shoot well & not get decimated by turnover differential. And hope Butler doesn't shoot as well as they often do. #pray
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

A win gets MU 3rd place and hands Butler it's first home loss. Quick turnaround game, weird start time. BeeJay says home court "no matta" in the Big East. This team lost to SJU and ISU. Play some defense and MU sneaks away with a W.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a "Scoop meltdown" feel about this one. Think we lead most of the way in a tight game, then get tripped up at the end. Just a little too early and a little too big. But I like our odds in the rematch.

I am hoping the short rest works out for Marquette. MU got to rest their starters in a snoozer against Depaul. Butler had to play to the wire in a physical slugfest with X. That can make a difference. My head says loss but my heart says MU by 6.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

We should definitely be able to beat mid majors like Butler and Creighton. Go Warriors!

Probably not the best jab saying you are in a league with mid-majors.

And Butler leads the all-time series 18-17.

Is the game fixed or what? Down 16 at the half and they make the spread exactly.
