Fres-know your next opponent

5-2.   An odd combination to get there.   A couple of inexplicable losses to go with a couple decent wins.   Decent size.    Doesn't look like they go real deep.

Looks like they only have two guys that regularly take and make from deep.  Not a great free throw shooting team either.

They’ll be favored by 9+ against Fresno State, they’re coming in hot at #161 on Kenpom. IUPUI is #151 for reference.

Fresno has lost to #322 Prairie View A&M at home and #114 Cal. State-Bakersfield.

They're best win is against Oregon State(170). Looking at the box score, the game came down to 3PT. FSU went 9-20 while OSU went 5-20. Otherwise, it was a statistically matched game.

Fresno is smaller than Marquette. Scoring comes from their guards.

Avoid the letdown and they should roll.

Marquette favored by 18 over FSU.
Over/under is 152.5

Putting $10 on Fresno to cover. Seeing a bit of a let down just because of the Madison game coming up.

That said. MU has paid out well this year so far aside from NYC.

Did anyone catch San Diego State lose at Loyola? Don't sleep on the WAC teams but they rarely play out here so it can go either way.

MU by 9.

If I'm betting against MU it's for a hell of a lot more than 10 bucks....that buys little happiness to make up for a poor performance.

Who plays at the 5 because Fresno has small post players, especially with Karachi Edo out. However, they do have good average height with a 6"6 "point guard."

Carter & probably de facto 5 is Cullen. Carter is big but that's about all he has going for him

Cullen has some pogo stick in him (nh)... he can craft up some highlights

But really, after him & rs FR Grimes I don't know Fresno St well st all.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.
