Minimalist with the lack of gold.

I wonder if they intentionally did that to "throwback" to the O'Neill era when their uniforms were essentially blue and white?

Are they really going to drip out the new uniforms sooo slowly?

I think those look really nice.

Question:  what color is that with the navy on the side panel?  Is there a little gold tint to that?  Does it change from the top to the bottom?  It seems like it is a bit of that "old gold" color at top and grey at bottom.  Looking at the pics of the Navy version that were on Facebook, it looks like maybe there's a color fade on the side panels on those too.

Does anyone know for sure?

I liked them well enough to order mine custom fit, just like the team.
Unfortunately, the tailor said it will be about 6 weeks since he had to order extra material.

I think the faint stripes could have a psychedelic effect on opposing players as they struggle to see if the stripes are there or not.

True, but plenty of closeups on TV which is where the vast majority of folks will see them.

On national television.

Still cannot believe Marquette scheduled non-conference games that will be nationally televised.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I think I really like these. I want to see what they look like on tv, but this is a nice, clean update. I still wish we could do a different homage design for each color, but that is unlikely to ever happen.

If Wojo ever wears those pants i'm going to completely loose my sh^t (in a good way).

Not to drudge up the BEast logo & American flag clutter discussion, but........that shot of the baby blues from the spirit shot without them (but with Jordan) looks a TON cleaner.

I just said to Glow the other day that when NFL players wear throwback uniforms, so should the coaches.  Mike McCarthy should have had on a suit, a camel hair coat and a fedora last week.

And Wojo would really rock this:

That link has all the uniforms. I REALLY like the Championship blues with that yellow. The gold uniforms don't seem to have the horizontal stripes, or is the most faint. All in all, I still really like them.

I think that's because the stripes are white, which are hardest to see when placed inside bright yellow.

I didn't think any of the horizontal stripes were a different color - I thought they were the same color but a different sheen (ie, more or less shiny). Maybe I'm wrong...it's hard to tell with pictures.  And I'm talking about the front and back, of course. It's obvious that the side panels have different colors.

For my personal preference, I think I'd rank them white, gold, navy, light blue.

Funny, I like the baby blues, white, then a toss up between the navy and gold personally. All of them are great though.

I think the navy's look the most busy, which was the biggest complaint. So I don't disagree with the "worst" ones being debuted first comment. I still really like those though. Kind of how I felt about the old ones. The navy's were cool, but not my favorites.
