Broeker should be a shoo-in for that job.

Would be some big shoes to fill if he left. Rooting for him, though.

Broeker is a great guy. He definitely deserves the shot. Would hate to see him leave.

Can you comment on how happy Mike's family is in Milwaukee and how Mike's family feels about moving back to the East Coast?

Go get 'em, Mike!  He would do great things at St. Johns.  They would be crazy not to offer him that job.

He did apply to become a finalist, no?

He got passed over twice.  The first time, Crean wanted him and it was thought he wasn't ready so Cottinghsm was put in as interim and then permanent.  The second time Pilarz wanted the bad cop outsider.  You have to look at some point.

Lovell selected the better man.

Broeker is...limited.

He needs to do exactly what he is looking to do - leave Marquette.

Good luck, Mike.   Sometimes, you need to leave home to succeed.

I have to agree. As Chick said, Fat Rick flourished by leaving home.

Broeker needs more seasoning and new experience should accelerate his development.

Speaking of the Johnnies, Mitch Richmond has been named as assistant coach on Mullins' staff.
Obviously Tim Hardaway soon will be appointed video coordinator.
Run TMC is back.
