This is an excellent interview and again it show the human quality of these kids is quite good. I agree with the author we are getting a steal. Remember he still has another year of high school.

Hmm. Would he be considered a "steal" if he chose Michigan?

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Fixing what needs fixing.

"EM: What are you going to bring to Marquette?

JC: I’m going to bring a lot of athleticism, a lot of energy, and lot of rebounds, and lot of buckets!"

"Jamal is a high upside prospect at 6’7 that will bring a ton of athleticism and shooting ability as soon as he steps on campus. "

If I recall correctly, that group was all on the team at the same time.  Or were supposed to be.  One of the two.

Excellent point.  I'm failing miserably.

If he chose Michigan they too would be getting a steal. I think this young man has capabilities found in 5 star recruits. Michigan ,although better than us in the last few years, is roughly in line with our program. I think Mr. Cain is one of those young guys who keeps steadily improving every year . He came off a relatively unknown base and the way the recruiting timeline worked out we were in a position to make a deal with him just as his reputation was expanding, as there are only so many slots open at the blue bloods.

Cain's shot form and size remind me of Khris Middleton a lot. Let's hope he becomes that type of player.

Hopefully he doesn't have Khris Middleton's hammy.
