Sam Hauser Has Considerable Upside Potential
« on: August 18, 2016, 03:03:05 PM »
I believe Sam Hauser has considerable upside potential. He has grown physically, has a very smooth shot and excellent basketball IQ.  His background of playing on championship teams is going to be very beneficial, as I believe he will do very well within a college team concept.  Looking forward to seeing him progress over the course of the season and adjust to the Big East pace of play.  I think by the end of the season he will be an important contributor to the team.

How many high major D1 basketball players didn't play in a winning culture in high school? If you're a high major player chances are you yourself can get your team to a 0.666 win percentage. If you have half way competent teammates you're probably competing at for conference championships and beyond.

He'll be really good if he can score a lot.

I'm going to go out on a limb and the say the Stevens Point team had one of the highest basketball IQ's of any team in Wisconsin high school tournament history.  Maybe the highest I've seen and I've watched WIAA games since 1969.  Sam Hauser was a big part of that IQ.

The value of p (i.e. probability for those of you who don't habla statisticos) in relation to one's upside potential converting to upside performance has an asymptotic relationship to time.  As follows:

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
