Shooting at Soblemans?
« on: June 23, 2016, 09:22:07 PM »
Wife just texted some MU kids hurt--gun fire. I'll look into it.

EDIT--apparent discharged gun when someone dropped gun in vestibule.
Some students hurt--but not shot.

Some idiot prematurately shot his weapon inside Sobelman.

Minor injuries to the MU patrons.

Prematurely?  When was he intending to shoot his weapon inside Sobelman's?

You never know.   He may have been underwhelmed by the burger.

Nothing to see here.  Move along.  Injuries to Marquette folks did not even require medical attention.

Here's a link if you really need it.

brewcity77 probably had some friends go on the call.   Maybe he can get some inside info.

Chicos would have said the injuries would have been fatal had a knife been dropped instead of a gun.

Sobelmann's on Wells is so much worse than Sobelmann's on St. Paul.  Since no one was critically hurt, the real tragedy at that location is still the shuttering of Angelo's.

If only there were some good guys with guns in there they could have defended themselves and prevented this needless tragedy.

i've eaten at both.  the MU one was good except the service was in need of a little help.  put it this way-voguey would not have approved.  no fresh flowers or candles.  the maitre d' was out havin a smoke and the cook was squeezin him some buns HHHeyn'a?

i thought the burgers were really good!  i couldn't afford angelo's back in the day though so i wouldn't know how good or bad it was

No material difference in the quality of the food. I've eaten at both plenty of times.

These accidents will become more frequent in our concealed carry culture.
