My Grandson vs. Dwyane Wade
« on: April 24, 2016, 09:00:52 PM »
After going to Miami's Game 2 Playoff game, I was happy to have Dwyane Wade come back with me to shoot around with my grandson. However, it did not end well for D-Wade. As you can see, my grandson was not only able to dunk over Wade (No. 3, in red) on the 7-foot hoop, but grabbed the rim with his right hand and put his left hand on Wade's head to rub it in. The court in my backyard actually has "Wade-Barkley Court" painted on it since we are a couple of miles from Auburn's campus.

Don't worry though, my grandson watches every Marquette game with me and he tries to jump out of my arms for the entire two hours, so he will be on campus in a few years. No way Bruce Pearl gets him to stay local!

Where's the foul call?  Clearly, that should have been an "and one" situation.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Hah, they did call fouls on both me and Wade, BUT Finn was ejected for the insuing flagrant for deliberately sticking his fingers in Wade's eyes.

I believe with a serious talk from Wojo he can be taught that he will only cost MU games if he retaliates.

Now, can I handle reading the Scoop if fans turn on Finn after a loss?
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

Don't be silly.  We can turn on him after a win just as easily as a loss.

Generally, I'm not a fan of recruiting one-and-dones, but we can probably make an exception here.

I don't get all the excitement.  Clearly, the kid only hits the easy dunks.

Hah Hah - all of your comments are hillarious and I would have great fun responding to every one of them - but I don't want to tie up the Scoop page. Just please know each and every comment gave me a great laugh which is great for a die-hard MU fan who lives so far from campus.

Yeah, but what I want to know is; Did he give you a proper high five for the assist?
