Patience required for talented, young Marquette team

Youth on the court explains a lot of things: flashes of brilliance interrupting stretches of inconsistency; great plays followed by exasperating turnovers; cohesion one moment, a breakdown the next.

Young teams require patience

One more time and you can have your Marco Rubio moment.

Two favorite things about that article. 1. The poll about Henry staying is only 52%-48% in favor of him leaving...lol. 2. The author thinks most Marquette fans are smart enough to give this team time to grow before writing them off.

I'm going to keep saying it until people stop having unrealistic expectations for this team.

I don't know who this Gary D'Amato guy thinks he is but he shouldn't be reporting a rational, long lasting, approach to building a winning program.  The media should be calling for Wojo's job because he's not doing everything to win at all costs today!

On a serious note I like Wojo's comments around wasting energy on negativity.  I know it's not a direct correlation but 99% of successful people i know in life and business take the same approach.

Poll is actually tightening up 51-49 as of this AM.

If Henry wasn't a One and Done I think 98% of fans would be ecstatic with this team.  But I think some enthusiasm is tempered by the fact that we will lose our leading scorer, leading rebounder and half our inside presence.   Short a Juco or Grad Transfer PF showing up, the path better days is still a little cloudy.
