#mubb up 38-28 at half. MU 3/15 from 3; 3FGA/FGA = 46.9% today; 36.4% this season coming into today.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

You think?

MU should be up by 20 against this team.  Fischer and Henry did not play on court together for extended minutes, Wojo had one of them resting.  Against a very small team.  JS playing zone, so at least practice getting the ball inside to the bigs.

MU continues to chuck up threes, they are 3 for 15.  It's really getting to be a coaching strategy or something else others are missing.  15 threes against this team?

Cheatham missed two layups early, but at least he has the sense to drive, great game by him so far.

Adjust something at half and get a huge lead.

MU was 26 for 106 on threes coming into today for a 25% mark.

With first half results, now 23% for year.

We were only a 12 point favorite in this game. Jackson state isn't terrible.

I know it's been said repeatedly but we have to take/make threes for Luke and Henry to have space inside. We're getting good looks. Ball movement has been good. Need to hit them.

Even Ners wouldn't take this many bad three point shots...then traci sinks one.

We aren't taking bad shots though. 90% of them are post kick outs or swinging the ball around to the open guy.

Unfortunately, those are bad shots for us.

Yup, other than Wisconsin, this is the best team we'll see in the next 7.  Low 200s ranked vs mid 300s.

I don't think I would say that high. Although I do agree, good passing leading to an open, in-rhythm three point attempt usually isn't a bad thing.

An open three isn't always the best shot though, especially if you could drive to the basket or exchange for a higher percentage shot.

7:26 remains; #mubb 70, Jackson St. 50. Marquette shooting 59.8% eFG%, which would be their best of the season. Scoring ~1.19ppp.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Bad turnovers remain an issue.  Very little of JJJ today.

#mubb losing the OR% & TO% battles by slim margins, but FTR & eFG% advantages far outweigh them. 74-55 MU, shooting 59.4% vs. 40.3% eFG.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Great ball movement, new contributors, fewer ticky tack fouls. A very enjoyable game to watch. Some people are never happy.

Early call for Haanif for stud.

Excellent. Fortunately I got mine after the bad ones were weeded out.
