Is it time for a new one? Not just merely a tweak here or there.

I like our jerseys alot.  But I think a new alternate they wear often would be refreshing.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Love em but it's time for new ones. We have usually been unique but the year they curved the stripes and added the watermark a ton of schools did that.

So you know how they wore practice jerseys in Italy, and practice jerseys in the promo video and practice jerseys for everything so far!?

What are the chances they are rolling out new jerseys?

And what are the chances I have no idea what I'm talking about cause they wore the same old jersey for their poster and athletic website photos.

We've been down this road before on Scoop, and I know I'm in the minority because I think our current unis are awful, so yes it is time in my opinion.

Please no piping with the different colored blocks on the side this time around.

Stay consistent and keep the current 4 basic uniforms, but come up with an additional alternate jersey for specific games (that's all the rage now). MU has a great basketball uniform tradition. Model a new alternate after one of MU's previous jerseys.

Personally, I'd love to see MU come out in uni's similar to this one a few times a season...

or any of these...

Keep in mind that I said "modeled after" so not an exact throwback, just something in a similar style.

I would say that our current uniforms are modeled after the second of your images (number 20).

The untucked uniforms have been banned by the NCAA  (which is too bad, they were the best).

If we were going to go "throwback" to one of the older ones, I like the top image (number 24).  It is unique.

I feel like there could be a modified version of the "untucked" look, possibly with just the number on the jersey and "MARQUETTE" across the front of two-tone shorts?

Not sure the bumble bee design could be modified so I left it off.

Which is frustrating with some of the atrocities that some teams have recently worn. Mainly the Adidas jerseys. Don't understand how some of those can be allowed and not the bumblebees.

I'm down for one as long as the chicken hawk stays off it.

I thought there might have been something up as I was paging through my season tickets, and the first two pages were practice jerseys. I like our jerseys, but hopefully we change them soon. I'd love a remix of the Vertical stripe jersey.

The 77 Butch Lee jersey should be saved for a game against UNC.
The 74 Maurice Lucas jersey for NC State.
The DWade jersey for Kentucky.
The 68? George Thompson jersey for Purdue.
The Dean Meminger bumble bee uniform for any big game against the likes of  say, Notre Dame, Indiana, Louisville...

Practice Jerseys on a foreign trip like that, or in our scrimmage today, is standard procedure. New Uni's would be Epic!

For next year's 100 anniversary, they should do a different throwback each game. Then brand new jersey for postseason and next few years

+1. Can't believe those damn Golden State Warriors have the balls to keep such an offensive name.

I think chick said like a year ago that there were some plans for the 100 year anniversary for marquette basketball.

That wasn't me. IIRC, someone else speculated that, but wasn't confirming.

I think the 2003 Final Four run uniforms were really nice. Simple is oftentimes better. Those were fairly simple.
