This is awesome - thanks to everyone that donated so far!  But you don't know hilltopper well enough, now he's just going to set a higher goal for us!

Hilltopper is a slave driver.

Now that Scoop reached its goal, how about funneling some more donations to my team?  Links are one the first page for myself and my team.  Or better yet, donate to Peter's younger brother at his link:

Bump.

Hello again everyone-

My son, Peter, would've been three this Thursday (September 10).  The Children's Hospital of WI provided Peter with wonderful care during his 18 days of life and provided me and my wife support and comfort in our most difficult time.  What better way to celebrate Peter's third birthday than making a tax deductible donation to the Children's Hospital of WI!  Please see the links below and strongly consider making a donation.

You probably already got the e-mail we sent - but if you didn't, we're down to the last few hours to donate!

Thanks!

Whoa .. the email generated a ton of new donations, and we blew through our goal.

THANK YOU!

Still a few hours before the walk, if you're reading this.

I'll post pics of the team at MU later today.

Indeed -  THANK YOU!

I'm always amazed by the generosity of 'Scoopers.  I know for most people this is not their only charitable giving, and many also donate some amounts via other friends and family for this event.  Regardless, Children's hospital of Wisconsin is a charity we're proud of supporting, and we're happy to make it our flagship (and only) fundraising campaign.

And....not that it matters (because it's all a good cause), but the MUScoop campaign (via hilltopper) is the 5th highest "individual" fundraiser.  So, whether or not you're not at the event today, give yourself a pat on the back!

Make that 4th place .. someone donated as we were doing the walk.

.. Found Coach Wojo and AD Bill Scholl and chatted with him for 3-4 minutes.  Very cool.  Team was there as usual, giving out slaps of 5 to the walkers.

For those who donated or walked in Al's Run .. here are some pics and a video for you as a thank you.
