What was that video?

Team workout. Jay Bee would know more specifics, but there's limits as to what players can do with the ball and amount of coach involvement.

Appears to be the team working out. They're limited in what they can do at this point on the calendar. Looks a little jazzercize-ish

What's the difference between an organized workout and a practice?

Will write more at a later date perhaps... depending on the calendar, can do some team or 4 or less man skill instruction... but you're not running your offensive, defensive sets, not "playing" bball

In general, skill instruction

But more to it than that..

Will write more at a later date perhaps

More like the Captain's Practice my kid had over the summer for cross country.

No. There was no practice. It's not allowable for another month from now.

There was a practice yesterday, I was with Wojo last night and he was late for a charity function as he stated it was the first day of school and had practice.  Practice
or individual workouts to me are the same.  When I stated it was a big month in recruiting, he said yes, and I said it would be nice to get 50% of the recruits coming
in, he looked at me like I was nuts, he thinks he will sign all 4, showed big time confidence.

Mars & earth might be "the same to you". Milk & a giraffe might be "the same to you".

But... yesterday was NOT the first day of practice.

Completely fine calling it that. They'd be nuts to use Hoopsters language.

You're 100% correct.  Now let's all agree not to devolve into a discussion of what is a workout and what is a practice.  All agree?

Now who's coming this weekend?  I forget?  ;D

Just one quick follow-up.  A workout is just a workout without a ball in the gym or field.  Simply doing footwork or running or whatever.  If a ball is involved, then NCAA rules re hours of practice come into play.  Buzz's "boot camp" and Bo's "Hill" come under the canopy of a "workout".

I would be delighted if we signed all 4.

Of course you would be delighted because then MU could dump someone you were delighted that MU signed last year or the year before.

The point of having a basketball program is not to win recruiting wars, its to win basketball games.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

That has to be his mindset regardless of the outside noise. I'm sure his assistants keep him from reaching delusion.

According to several on this site, there is a high probability some one on the current squad self selects out. Clearly Wojo understands that.

Summary put together by Marquette Wire

http://marquettewire.org/3951898/sports/recruiting-player-profiles/

Article on Lewis recruitment with good quotes

http://marquettewire.org/3951533/sports/recruiting-lewis-chooses-iowa-state-over-marquette-two-others/

Lots of old names in that first link. I haven't heard Marquette mentioned with Flory since his decommit. Appreciated the summaries though

These are more in line with where I think they are (not saying they're right or wrong, just that in my opinion I think Joey's got a chance to be at least as good as Hank while I see Herro as similar to Koenig).
