Marquette Hoops tweeted this link and said Marquette is in the mix for a visit.  Still a long shot to land Grimes but worth a shot with only one scholarship open.
If we can get him on campus we have as good a shot as the next team at landing him.

As long as the next team isn't Kansas. Which it is.

In the article Grimes said wants/plans to take all five visits.  Daniels asks him about Calipari/Kentucky since they were at his game and at the end of the article, Daniels asks about other schools and he said Marquette after him pretty hard and Baylor.

I think Joey is gone boys. Gard pulled it off. This loss almost hurts as much as losing Herro. Flood knows his stuff.

Herro's are about winning and winning national titles bottom line. They have put Wisconsin basketball on the map nationally. Tyler Herro has his own brand. Kid is most un-guardable player in history of state maybe. My fear is Hauser sees this and goes to UW. The one thing we have going for us is Herro is probably a 1-2 year guy at UW then NBA. That's really the decision for Hauser, go to UW for a 1-2 year National title window with Herro or play at Marquette two years with your brother and then 2 years with who knows what. We really need Hauser, Gard is getting upper hand in recruiting which is not good. He beat us to the punch on Jalen Johnson also.
Sorry Mr. Herro, good luck to your son wherever he lands
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

If Joey wins the Wisconsin Mr. Basketball award next spring, that would be 4 out of the last 6 years we've landed the state's top player: Luke Fischer (2013), Henry Ellenson (2015, tied with Diamond Stone), Sam Hauser (2016) and Joey Hauser (2018).

Wisconsin has 1 in that stretch: Kobe King (2017).

Glad to see that Wojo continues to make recruiting the best local talent a priority — and that he's getting results.

247 updated their composite rankings today. Some names of interest:

2017
#133 Jamal Cain (up about 40ish spots)
#201 Theo John (up maybe 5-10 spots)
#221 Greg Elliott (down about 60ish spots)
#357 Ike Eke (down about 20ish spots

2018
#22 Quentin Grimes
#35 Joey Hauser
#57 Khavon Moore
#81 Noah Locke
#119 Jeenathan Williams
(Brendan Bailey considered part of 2016 class)

2019
#6 Matthew Hurt
#35 Isaiah Stewart
#42 Josh Nickelberry
#51 De'Vion Harmon
#55 Nobal Days
#64 Rocket Watts
#89 Jalen Wilson
#101 Josh Green
#145 Calvin Felder
#205 EJ Liddell

With no scholarships currently available in 2018 and only 2 in 2019, Wojo can be very particular going forward.

Wisconsin is going to have a "national title window"???!!  If so then MU is entering one too, as MU has simply killed Wisconsin in the area of recruiting.
Herro is a big time recruit for them ,considering the recruiting rankings, but MU is simply loading up with 4 star recruits and some real elites with Howard n Joey Hauser.
Add in the 4 star transfers and MU has really amassed some talent.

Ike is going to be the best 357th rated recruit ever. I think he is seriously under rated.
