Don't know anything about the guy other than he comes from Ball State and was at Notre Dame before that.

Brian Hardin, a 2002 @MarquetteU grad, has been named Deputy Athletic Director at MU. Worked w/ AD Bill Scholl at Ball State. Story coming.

Love the hire. Wonder what this means for Broeker with Scholl bringing his own people in

Hardin's title seems to provide some writing on the wall for Broeker.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Don't worry about Broeker.  He is just fine.

Marketing and big pockets, and attention to new $100 million plus facility.  Broeker is in good shape.  Well respected for his loyalty and his potential but MU is dreaming big, and that needs focu$.

Two different jobs. As others indicated, Broeker has nothing to worry about. Though if Mike ultimately replaces Scholl or takes an AD job elsewhere, it's nice to have Hardin in house.
