Legends Classic Field
« on: April 22, 2015, 01:37:12 PM »
They released the rest of the Legends Classic Field today. Belmont, South Alabama, IUPUI, and Kennesaw State fill out the field. Marquette will host games at the BC against two of those four teams.

Really hoping for Belmont and either South Alabama or IUPUI. Belmont is always pretty good. The other three teams all return virtually their entire rosters, so they should be better than last year. Solid field all in all, with KSU as the only likely dog.

Not sure when they'll announce pairings, but LSU, Arizona State, and NC State fill out the rest of the field and will be the teams that join us in NYC.

My hope is we get LSU in the opener (Simmons/Ellenson game) and after beating them, get to play NC State in the final. Add in Belmont and IUPUI/Alabama State and that would make for a great tournament from an RPI perspective.

Nc Statw would be real tough if Lacey didn't bolt
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Belmont would be great.  We might lose.  That would be less great.

Me too.

But Hurley vs. Wojo would make any Dookie wet.

That lineup makes a mockery of the definition of "Legends"...

Shouldn't Utah State be in this tourney?

They were, but then the legend retired and they were removed.

Marquette has had home and home series with each NC St, LSU, and Arizona St in the last 7 years.  MU Split them all with the road team winning both games in NC St series and the home teams winning the rest.
