Xavier is up 12 with 7 minutes left at Georgetown. Good luck trying to figure out this conference.

Yeah. Right now GT is 12-22 on FT's, but blew the lights out against us. Go figure.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Funny you say that. As soon as I saw they were losing I went to check out their free throw percentage. They were 9-19 at the time.

If they win at Creighton they will be fine. Only losses are Xavier (x2), Butler (N), Kansas, @ Providence, Wisconsin (N). Wins over Indiana and Nova.

I noticed Pomeroy has Marquette as the 300th luckiest team in the country.  This I agree.  G'Town hits everything (3's and free throws) against us.  DePaul, a poor defensive team, all of a sudden finds a way to put together a defensive gem.

I know it is a loser's way of thinking, but we have been a tad bit unlucky thus far.

I've felt the same way.  Hopefully it balances out the rest of the year.  Damn it's more fun to win rather then enjoy 'moral' victories.  And I hate getting bumped down to FSC-2 like we're Dayton or something.  Rant over.   :-X

But perhaps another tournament spot gained.  X has been near the tail of the 6-7 bid discussions, and this one will look nice come March.

Hang in there, this is actually a good thing for us. We are a tough conference and every possession is a battle. That is what we want. At the end of the day we want as many Big East teams in the tournament as possible.  Xavier is a well respected team and if they have a reasonable record they are getting in. Also we have a home game against them still and if win it is a quality win.
