Q+A with Dr. Lovell
« on: December 18, 2014, 02:51:35 AM »
I didn't see this posted so here it is.

http://magazine.marquette.edu/issues/winter-2015/qa-dr-lovell/

Very short interview, but it's kind of odd to start off the interview with the oddly-phrased question "what do you dream about."  In the answer to this question, he mentions innovation in water, energy and biotechnology.

He says if he weren't a university president, he would be a coach.  Says he loves collegiate athletics.

"we teach critical-thinking skills that are important for people to be creative and innovative..."

I wish this were true. Recent actions by MU faculty seem to ensure that critical thinking and open dialogue are silenced.
