Luke's Shoulder Brace

I guess in all of the excitement from last night I've forgotten about Luke's shoulder brace.  Anyone know the background or story?

He injured his shoulder while at Indiana, and had a setback this past summer.

My sources say he first injured it trying to lift Crean's ego. The situation was exacerbated when he tried to use his arm to shield him from Crean's bile after the decision to transfer.

He probably should have had surgery when he left Indiana, but he wanted to try the conservative way first.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

That's neither funny nor true.

His injury, from my understanding, was caused by having to lift a box of numerous trophies that Crean was going to hand out to camp participants at a Indiana basketball camp for children. He actually injured the shoulder not delivering the trophies, but helping Riley, who won every trophy at the camp, to take the trophies back to the Crean house.

So this would be the correct fix?

The situation was exacerbated when he tried to use his arm to shield him from Crean's bile after refusing to hang the Most Camp Trophies Awarded banner.

Shoulder brace is the new walking boot.

I'm getting fitted for one this afternoon.

I first heard that it happened when Crean took him for a ride on his ATV after Karate practice, but later found out that it was tackling dummy related.

Still needs the brace because of Tom Crean holding him back. Fischer feels much better now that Wojo has "taken the handcuffs of him"

Heard the doctor said he can now take the brace off since he has healed.

However, Luke thought he should keep it on since he can feel the weight on his shoulders of the expectations of all Scoopers hoping he can save the season all by himself.
