Bad turnovers.

Bad defense by Dwil on that three ball.  Just too small to play in back on d in that zone.

And Taylor misses another one, then fouls.

Stj needs focus on 3 footers before trying 10-15 footers on the run.

Wow! Taylor 1-5 on layups, then commits a frustration foul 90 feet from the hoop, his 2nd and puts Ga Tech in the bonus.  Horrible sequence.  Hope Steve gets it going in the 2nd half.

Ga tech is really bad. I'm not confident we hold this lead.

But man, most years we beat this tech team by 30

Ummm what year did we beat a power conference team by 30? They are 3-0 so its not like they are horrible. Don't get me wrong, they are bad.

Decent first half. Only really this close because of Carlino. They need to play better in the second half if they want to win this.

Does wojo stay with zone?  I like it so far

Ole Miss 2 years ago. Interestingly, Demarco Cox was on that team too.

Props to Wojo, much better on the defensive end for that half.

Also, Burton much more active on d. Great to see.

A couple years ago we absolutely pasted ole miss in that non conference tourney. And that team was way better than them.

This tech team is terrible.

I remember beating Oklahoma State by a fairly large margin as well.  I believe it was in the Maui Invitational.

We still need more active rebounding. Tech is big, but our guys still ball watch too much on missed shots.

Halftime thoughts:   1. Just not deep enough to extend the defense.
2. Carlino giveth, Carlino giveth back.   Nice to see him hit 3's.
3. STjr needs to hit some layups.
4.  The zone wasn't bad, but it didn't really help with rebounding.
5.   Somebody else is going to have to do something offensively.   Carlino 15, the rest of the team 14 ain't gonna get it done.
6.   The team seems settled into their roles and their rotations.   Just need somebody else to score.
7.   Am I the only one who saw Wojo working the refs?    .....they're shooting and they've been called for 3 fouls....

MU getting destroyed on the boards, 21-11.

If Carlino didn't make a few bombs, its a much larger GaTech lead. They are not real good.

Taylor has two points, with many short misses.  He has not shown any offensive skills in three games.

Cohen and Burton played short minutes.

No boards, no scoring from upfront with Taylor/Anderson, MU will start the three point assault.........and hope.

It was better with Juan in game. Again, never thought it would come to this but Juan is pretty crucial now even with dumb TOs and bad fts.

Chuckers gotta chuck

While we up chuck. I can see why his ego didn't fit at 3 other schools. Shot selection, inability to effectively drive,  low offensive efficiency and matador D  will hurt us in a major way over the season.

Team, however, is moving the ball somewhat better and playing somewhat better D.

Haven't tried the Booker.  In De Pere at the in-laws.  Forgot about their terrible drink selection.  Will be bringing back New Glarus products though.

Have never seen any big man miss as many bunnies as STJr. I know, he's playing against big big men and might be a little paranoid about the block, but come on. I know he saw almost no time last year, and this year is early, but I have the fear that JJJ will not pan out.
