How about a little irony with Ben Howland analyzing the game?  Ben was pretty spot on with his analysis this evening.  He repeatedly said Wojo is doing a job and that this team will take awhile to grow.  By far, that's the most qualified opinion to date that I have heard on Wojo.  I'll take it.

FUNNIEST LINE OF THE NIGHT FROM PLAY BY PLAY ANNOUNCER:

With about 5 minutes left in the game, the announcer goes:  "Marquette just wearing down NJIT with their size " - you'll never hear that again this season.

"That was a man sized [block, dunk, rebound, etc.]!"

Also heard that size comment and laughed. Announcers were bad but seemed a little clueless at times.

I thought one of the announcers called JJJ JJ Murphy when he came back in towards the end and got a steal.

He called him Juwan Howard after he stole the ball form a guy named something Howard.  Funny, but easy mistake.

There was also mention of Steve Carlino from Collins, the play-by-play announcer.

Our roster is pretty easier to get the names right. Every last name of the active roster ends in a E or O and N.  Even one redshirter.

Also heard him call Wojo "mike wojokowski" at a timeout. You could tell the poor guy knew he messed up and was going to mention about coach k, but then he couldn't think of wojo's first name. Other announcer bailed him out nicely.

Listened to homer and Jim at start of came and they had lots of fun with the njit player names... particularly the guy whose name sounded like make'n tacos.

The one that cracked me up was the analyst mentioning NJIT's 50-some game losing streak from a few years ago saying something like, "Yeah, they were getting mentioned on SportsCenter all the time back then."

I'm sure the FS1 folks love those SportsCenter references!

Caught that too...meanwhile, I forgot and had to Google what FS1's sports news show was called (Fox Sports Live).  Oopsie

And currently at this moment, I cannot recall Wojo's first name. The hilarity.

which by the way, has improved greatly since it's introduction. Watched an episode last night and there wasn't any screaming, lots of highlights from a variety of sports. Or maybe I just happened to catch a less obnoxious episode

Ben Howland seemed a step away from taking a nap in the studio.  Man is key low key.

I noticed the same thing. I yawned 3x while listening to him.

Five minutes into the game and we were down by 8 points or so and one of the announcers said there is still a lot of time in this game.
