Sub .500 Coach
« on: November 22, 2014, 04:16:46 PM »
I was wondering how long it had been since MU had a coach with a career losing record (I know, I know it's a small sample size, I was just trying to put things in perspective). I figured it would have been way, way back. Then I got thinking - it didn't take long. The answer is (wait for it) - 6 years ago! And how did that work for us?

Let's let this year be what it will be, learn about our new coach, see how he develops, and go on from there.
OK, now I feel better about losing to Omaha.

Going into his 4th season at MU, Kevin O'Neill still only had a career record of 42-45.

Could be awhile - the team today would not win a big east game this year.   Let s hope for improvement and Fischer making a huge difference.
