Would look good in a Marquette uniform.  Had 18 for Creighton last game and is playing well tonight.

Involved a little bit.

IIRC he committed to Creighton on the early side...before the late evaluation period in 2012.

Haven't seen him in awhile and he had some upside potential.. so they may have gotten a good deal on him... but, my thoughts two and three years ago were, "poor man's Matt Heldt."
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Creighton's win tonight is solid OOC win for the BEast. Most had Oklahoma pegged as a tournament team. Creighton...not so much.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

why?  Have you watched him yet this year? Kids a player. If Heldt produces like he does his freshman year I'll be damn happy.  We can't get all the in-state kids but we might of missed on this one IMHO

No we didn't. Like I said he's just like Wragge and big who camps out for 3. We have Henry as a stretch big man. And will still have Steve for another year.

Outside of this year we wouldn't need him at all.

Based on his previous posts, I think it is because he just looked at the mug shot of the player. He's not a fan of the traditionals.

Creighton: Toby Hegner drew a roar from the crowd late in the first half when he bumped a courtside table diving for a loose ball and ended up with beer spilled on his head. "He's from Wisconsin. He was right at home," Greg McDermott said.

Matt's freshman year wouldn't be a fair comparison since this is Hegner's second year at Creighton.  (He was a redshirt last year).
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Hegner could help us this year, but all things dont happen in a vacuum, he couldnt hold a candle to anyone we signed in his class.  And he would only help us this year because we lost buzzs last class.  Next year hewould be our 3rd or 4th 4 or 5.  No help

In Hegner's senior year, he was listed around 200 lbs at 6-10. Had decent board stats. Redshirted at Creighton
for a year and is now listed at 6-10 225. He still scores, boards and plays "D". Works on his game and made
himself a better player. Keeps improving. Matt Heldt is the same mold. As someone mentioned before, Heldt
will be a solid player at MU. Yep, Hegner would look good in an MU uniform.
