I agree that Juan does a lot of things well, his major problem is that he has never been able to finish around the basket with any kind of traffic. That's probably not going to change but he can still be valuable in a Joe Fulce type way as was already mentioned.

This is true.

Juan's other problem is he doesn't really get "pace." He is all-out, balls-to-the-wall all the time. So he often plays too fast, too out of control. Nobody hustles more than Juan, but it often is fruitless hustle because he's so out of control, out of position and out of sorts that his hustle doesn't yield positive results for the team.

There are times to be manic on the court and times to dial it back. That actually might be something Wojo and staff can help him with. We'll see.

I will be the contrarian and say that Jaun will average close to 10 points a game.  I love his hustle and athleticism, and if he earns Wojo's confidence he won't be afraid to miss a shot, hence will be more likely to make one.

This is a very good insight. Hopefully the coaches can focus him correctly.

You can't really glean the level of Juan's improvement from Madness performance or observation of practice. The only way to tell how good Juan will be this season, is to do what I did, and that is evaluate each of his 1,974 tweets made since the end of last season.

Based on a 19.4% increase in a metric I call Leadership Verbiage, which tracks instances of words like "hustle" and "work" and "bangin" and "lolz" and "trippin", we can expect a stat line of 6.8ppg/6.3rpg/1.9apg/2.1spg. Reflecting the senior's growing confidence, his LV increase also suggests he will lead this year's team in high fives given.

(/end teal, BTW. I'm not a smalker.)

This was awesome
