More importantly, did you make it home in time to witness MU's gutsy performance for the first 8 minutes of the game?

The game went down to the wire so I missed MU's run to start the game (I'm sure Sultan is happy). And I was wrong in my initial post, Cassius went for 24 last night.
Bring back FFP!!!

Those darn fake fan police are so persistent.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Sometimes I have to fake myself out to watch these games this year.... what does that make me?

Oh...  I really was just kidding.  (I couldn't figure out who people were referring to as the "fan police.")  Believe me there are times I wish I had something better to do.

Just someone who took an innocent comment from one poster and made it out to be something it wasn't, and then who completely missed the point when the same thing was done to him to point out what he had done earlier.

You want me to go back through and use teal everywhere or something?

edit: done

Apologies for missing your intent initially.  You lose so much context with just the written word.

No worries.  Agreed that jokingly giving people a hard time can easily be misinterpreted on the intarweb.

Had to laugh when reading the comment "his shot wasn't falling.  He'll fit right in (at Marquette).  That is so true over the years as we seemingly recruit good athletes but their shots just don't fall and we get beat over and over again by inferior athletes whose shots fall.

Ahhhh... that will be changing as the "switchable" philosophy of the phony hillbilly has left the building.

Cassius listed us in his top 5. Maybe the recruiting services will finally recognize that we're a real player in this one

The two Marquette grads on the teaching staff at U of D High need to help out here...

MU is not listed on 247, rivals or ESPN as even being involved.  Really hope those folks feel guilty about cashing an unearned paycheck

Wojo is 1-0 against Izzo for recruits so far  ;)

The failure of those companies to be good at what they "do" has little to do with MU or its standing with Winston.

My friend who is a Spartan insider feels pretty confident.  He was not this confident with Ellenson nor Dawson.

Wojo is involved with many prospects in the Scout or Rivals 150 that don't have MU listed.

Wojo definitely plays his recruiting cards close to the vest.

I'd actually say he's 2-0. I'm pretty sure Izzo went after Sandy once he reopened his recruitment when Brent decided to go live in Appalachia.

FWIW, mark miller disputed the offer. Said MSU expressed "interest"

In case you guys cared, our long national nightmare is over. Jerry Meyer updated his top 5 on 247

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I saw a tweet earlier this week that our staff is making a visit to U of D next week. Obviously Cassius is the priority, but they also have two young big men that might turn into good prospects.

After talking with Jerry Meyer about Cassius, one of Cassius' AAU mates followed me on twitter... which is awkward, but I am going to assume it means we are as all in as it can get.

Cassius in the Twin Cities this weekend, but stuck on the bench. He'll likely be sporting a cast for another 4-6 weeks after breaking his wrist ~two weeks ago.

I think MU is still in play. Still doesn't seem the most likely of destinations, but in play.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.
