MU Pros in Town
« on: August 27, 2014, 02:32:06 PM »
Looks like a bunch of former players are in town this week to workout with the new staff and team.  Anyone know when Haanif is supposed to be on campus??  I'd imagine he would be pretty impressed seeing the likes of Matthews, Novak, Butler, etc... walking the halls of the AL.

Who all is in town? Cause I mean having them back is awesome but let's not pretend that those three (even if you add crowder and the other occasional NBA guys) would have the same impact that Doc and Wade would.

Looks like those are the biggest names so far....Dan fitz, mo acker, Burke, and vander as well.  From pictures I've seen looks like Diener was running with them in 5 on 5 along with davante and Jamil.

Hell, at 10 large/year, I'd be impressed too.

Wojo is knocking this out of the park. I'm very happy with his drive to focus on building relationships with the MUBB alumni. This will be a real boon for the program, both immediately and in the longer term!

10 large/year? I'm not quite sure what that means perhaps the 10 players since wade to play in the nba discounting deiner?

But if they had Wade, Novak, deiner there that would certainly be a good way to impart to the recruits and team that they could be the next FF.

Oh gotcha.  Well that and I don't know I'd be impressed that he's won an nba championship and is coaching a pretty legit contender.

I predict that this is the year that Fitzgerald finally breaks out.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

pretty sure "large" usually refers to a thousand dollars

Thanks for the clarification. When I read 10 large I thought we were referring to inches.
