For you guys who hate on college football, and I guess this is directed more towards younger grads, what do you do on Saturdays during the fall? I love going to bars or parties and watching some football, even if I don't care who's playing. For the most part there is always a match-up that I'm interested in and try to make some time to watch.

Literally anything but watch college football. It's great.

Update, 2:12 pm: Feldman now has the names of the four players who have been dismissed. They are receiver DaVaris Daniels, defensive back KeiVarae Russell, defensive lineman Ishaq Williams, and linebacker Kendall Moore.

Daniels is the son of former Bears DE Philip Daniels.

I loved walking around campus in my ND football shirt, and I loved the hate. I embrace it.

Sorry to everyone who will hate on me for it, but I honestly do not know how I would function without both of my teams. It's not that hard to cheer for Notre Dame in a sport that Marquette does not involve themselves in.

I can think of a million things I'd rather do than stay indoors and watch college football on a fall Saturday. I'm already spending most of my Sunday watching football. Why spend an entire weekend doing that?

I give ND credit, they are addressing it and taking action.  If this were to happen at many schools across the country, they would try to bury it and cover it up.

Obviously some lousy stuff going on, but ND gets a bit of praise from me for trying to deal with it.  Perhaps there was some covering up going on, have to wait until the facts come out, but I have zero doubt in my mind this is covered up at many schools.

My guess is that they tried to get ahead of it once they knew it came out.

They have a horrible record of cover ups, ranging from sexual assaults by football players to Manti Te'o.  

At the end of the day, they aren't any worse than any other school with the problems they encounter with their students and athletes.  They are just sooooo smarmy about it.  After all, they are God's team.

Funny story....when I was a soph at MU, I went back home one weekend, and hung out with some friends at ND.  One of the guys was a fb player.  To get me in to some  of the parties, the fb player told everyone I was a fb recruit in for the weekend (I am bigger than the avg bear).  I drank for free with other underage fb players Friday and sat night.
